In 2004, Dave took three of his fellow new comics home to Adelaide for the Fringe.
They got a very nice review (three and a half stars) and broke even, which is no mean feat for a bunch of first-timers.
The one on the far left is Daniel Townes. He's now doing very well for himself as a full-time comedian.
The second one is Steve Freeman. He was a comic genius, and probably the funniest of the lot but he's gone back to roofing houses, for some reason.
The far right is Nick Sun, who won the 2005 Raw Comedy competition and the went on to win the 'So You Think You're Funny' competition in Edinburgh.
As well as being Dave's first festival performance, he also produced it and did all the publicity (Dave still produces his own shows, writes the press releases and does all the graphic design).
Still, if you wanted to yolk him to your corporate publicity behemoth, you'll get no complaints.
